I am in the market for another car, but I am at a complete loss on exactly WHAT to get...... So, if you have anything interesting, please send me a PM!!
Get a convertible. Maybe a Panoz AIV? Definitely stay away from carbureted cars. Are you selling something and looking for a replacement? How about a T-rex? Its dangerous but looks fun. BT
We had a cherry 2006 Honda Civic hybrid for sale 2 weeks ago. Only 88k miles, ice cold air, new tires, etc... Sold for $7500! BT
I think you would like the new Alta 4C. Similar size and weight of the Lotus but with about 50 more horsepower. It might even smell like fine Italian leather. Looks great in the photos I have seen.
Is a car ever Finished???? I would answer yes, except there is always something else I want to do with it. I have been contemplating a TR6 roof and windshield wipers. About the only thing that is needs is the e-brake cables installed. I just haven't gotten around to it.......I'd still like a 550.....
If you need a car with carbs, I think the Triumph TR-3 is about as good looking as they get. One just came up on BaT with some nice upgrades for $21k. A bit pricey for that model, but it is worth it in my opinion. Just look at that side profile picture in the ad! 1962 Triumph TR3 B for Sale Fly out there and do an awesome cross country trip home over about 3 weeks. It could be the drive of your life. Not much power which also appeals to me. For those not familiar, Fred has had just about everything, and usually buys a car with loads of power and a fair amount of rarity. 360CS, Ultima Can Am, Bentley CGT, Lambo Gallardo, retired police car, and I think his favorite, the Lotus Elise. Also famous for owning some Toyota trucks... I will have a partially assembled three wheeled Batman style vehicle available in a few months if you just want something to fill a garage space that will look cool... BT
Have you considered a Bentley Turbo R? Few cars offer such a high level of old-world luxury and sporty acceleration/handling. You can waft serenely as if in a royal carriage, but toss it into corners like a hooligan and it will exhibit the grip and precision of a small sports sedan. These are true driver's cars -- youll smile maniacally at how a nearly 3 ton machine can seemingly defy the laws of physics (kudos Bentley engineers). In addition to offering peerless build quality, powerful presence and amazing performance, the R is very reliable when properly maintained. Buy a solid one and you will understand how this legendary model saved Bentley from extinction. My pristine Turbo R (Masons Black/Parchment + St. James Red trim) has been a blast to drive and has never left me stranded during a decade of ownership. It is practically in show condition. I am willing to sell it to free up some garage space. I am in Florida as well and will PM details to you. Good luck with your search! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Maybe I can help: To make room for a just-purchased 330 GT, I've decided to sell the family truckster: My custom Ariel Atom 3. It's the perfect family car, tailor-made for those long cross-country trips with mom and kids. Extensive carbon fiber construction makes for great gas mileage. The carbon fiber rear wing is ideal for attaching that extra luggage or steamer trunk. The interior has all the conveniences you expect from a practical car: throttle-controlled air conditioning, surround sound, excellent visibility, and the one-off CF dashboard with finger-tip controls on the steering wheel. (Please note that the windshield wipers are missing.) Oh, and never worry about being late again to a family event: 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Let me know if you're interested. Somehow I just can't get this image of Jeremy Clarkson driving the Atom out of my head. I wasn't aware Atom's were street legal until driving north on I-95 out of Miami one day, an Atom went flying by probably going 100+MPG in the express lane. I'd offered Fred a spectacular 1,694 original mile Testarossa located in Miami but it was passed over. BHW Image Unavailable, Please Login
Atom....PM sent. Bart, the TR looked nice, but not exactly what I am looking for. Plus, the stratospheric price must reflect the 1980's kilos of yayo stashed in the car......lol!!
