I would like to have some better sound out of the OEM head unit is it possible to just change the speakers and amp and get that. I'm looking for some good ideas but try to keep the factory look.

I dont know why you want the factory look when aftermarket radios look sooo much better. Honestly you need an aftermarket radio to produce good sound.

    Becker SuKs!

you may not be able to connect an amp to the stock radio, I would have to look at mine if I didnt throw it away.

Anyway adding better speakers and amp will improve the sound as the stock speaker are garbage. Stock radio does not have the adjustment likeaftermarket which aid in sound quality.

Remember.. Use a quality speaker and amp

I don't use the radio too much in the Ferrari but my golden rule for all matters audio is to spend at least as much on the speakers as the system that drives them. Nothing impacts on the overall sound quality as much as the speakers themselves.

If you search this forum you will find several threads discussing options.

I have a 360 with an Alpine system (model CDA-9856) in it and that is plenty powerful enough for my tastes. The unit fits nicely into the dash where the stock system was located and it's a nice, clean system and installation. The previous owner had installed the system. I added a powered sub-woofer (Bazooka tube that sits behind the passenger seat , otherwise I would have to have a custom fabricated box built to house the speaker). The sound is this car is really good.

Whatever you end up with, get a system with satellite radio.

I don't like the look of aftermarket radios in Ferraris.

I agree, some of the new flashy colored designs break to much from the sober interior of the 360. And I dont think I`m going to use it much either, rather wind down the window and listen to that other music coming from the exhaust.

The engine only sound good on short jaunts which most owners only do. Now for those who really drive their cars they want diverse music selection.

True many new radios have many lights and are flashy but that beats the dead plain jane look of the factory.

Less car put but radio and systems but Ferrari skimps.
