OK, I'm done! I tipped in at 215 last Monday. I will step on the scale a week from next Monday to see what the two weeks did for me. I'v had it with the weight! I started last Monday at every meal. I thought about how I use to eat or order and for each meal, I made a choice of changing the pattern. Slaw for the fries. Salad for the onion rings (ughh)....Two glasses of water for the three beers.

I will get to 185 one meal at a time.
I will throw out all of my 38 waist pants and get back into my size 34's.
I will have the body I had about eight years ago and keep it.
I will post a picture of my progress every two weeks.

It aint gett'en any unglier than this. If Melodie can still have a hot body, I can have a decent one. Wish me well!

I need to get back to at least 185. I'm at 215 as of last week. I;ve been told that I will gain weight b/c of the medication I'm on. I think that has caused me to start eating worse and worse and I just blame it on the meds. I've been eating more burgers, fries, fried chicken, and drinking more. And I drink a lot of cokes and blended sugary coffees throughout the day as well.

I am about to join a gym with a friend of mine and start eating smaller portions of healthier food.

    Any other tips out there?

Best of luck to you Pete!

Please don't hit me if I say that I consider my 34 waist pants to be my "fat" pants at a typical weight of 195 to 205 (at 6'3"). Slowly working on bringing the pants to a 32w 36l in the 200# neighborhood without losing some of the strength I've built up :) Took me a few years of sloth to get myself from the 170# range up to 200!

Stop tucking in your shirt, that alone will help you look thinner. Good luck on the diet and you don't look a day over 40

I'm going to join in. I'm 34 and 230 lbs, pretty strong but I need to get back into shape big time. I can leg press 600 but I really do need to drop about 25-30 lbs resulting from the ulcer meds, and I hope to look and feel better.

    Good luck guys.........

All I can say is, take it day by day and keep a journal, if you can. It will help you see what you've eaten over time.

I'm in too I started last week. One day I found myself out of breath after getting or I should say contorting my "husky physique" out of my S2000 with the top up so I knew it was time. I'm doing the protein thing now and once my virus passes I'm going to start biking again.

Don't lose sight of your health. Take comfort in knowing that if you develop an unhealty aversion to food while trying to become that perfect size, that others have beaten their unhealthy eating habits.

be strong and look to this guy for your path.
