    I don't have any X40s or X50s but if they are like any other IBM laptops, I'd get one in a heartbeat (if MacbookPro's didn't exist...)

    I have a T60...LOVE IT. You can not go wrong with IBM, great product, and they stand behind it 100%

    I have a T42. Best computer, let alone laptop, I have ever owned. IBM/Lenovo makes a great product.

    However, I have personally had trouble with my fingerprint scanner.

    Just bought a Core 2 Duo T60 widescreen a few weeks back. Built like a tank. Came with Vista business but switched it to XP Pro and now I love it!

    Thanks for the replies all...I was looking at 'ultra-portable' models. I ultimately went with the X60s, one of the lightest that IBM makes. Just have to wait for it to arrive!
