hi everybody...i've been helping a buddy of mine at A&N welding in Chino Hills for the last few days and i saw this car. I can't Identify what car it is...the VIN has been removed...most of the body is rusted...and there are no emblems or engine to show what car it is.

I am guessing it is an Austin Healey...but i may be wrong. Can anybody Identify this car?...it'll sure look hot if it was restored and painted red.

    I'm pretty sure it's a Triumph TR2.

It's a TR3a. The TR2 did not have the separate round brake lights, of which you can see the holes for in the back of the mystery car. The TR2 had the center-mounted combination stop/license lamp as seen on the back of the red car posted by someone else. Also, the recessed 'cups' in the front inner fenders were introduced on the 3a (versus the 2 and 3) to make room for the revised headlamp position. Triumph freshened up the TR3 by adding a full-width grille and slightly recessing the headlamps into the front apron. Voila! You now have a TR3a. www.wtroadsters.com.............
