    Can someone identify this exhaust system. It is fully catless. Four pipes coming out the four headers each going to it's own muffler(4) and each muffler has it's outlet going to tailpipe for a total of four. So each manifold has it's own single exhaust pipe and muffler.

    I agree that this Amerisport look quite similar. But I did a search for Borla after ANG308 answered and I believe it is Borla. One guy on another chat say it's crap and to sell it for scrap.
    Any of you have had good or bad experience with a Borla exhaust. Any comments?

    Remember, opinions are like "anal pores" - everyone has one. The question is do you like the sound it produces?

    I have been looking for one off and on for my TR as I like the sound of the Borla. I have no idea about ultimate HP expression compared to other brands...

    So if you are wanting to "sell it for scrap" - keep me in mind. ;)

    Not crazy about that set-up. Does not look like 3" pipe thruout.. Are those pipes mandrel bent. Does not look like that either. The only thing I do like is that it goes right to the manifolds.. thats nice. Must be a Euro spec. muffler set up..

    Anyway that's what is on the car I just bought ans I'll keep it that way for a while I guess. I've try to find a video of it's sound under load and accelaretion with no luck. If someone has one please post it. Thanks.

    I had that Borla setup on one my old TRs and it actually sounded quite nice. In fact...Steve's picture above IS my old system, that I cleaned up one winter in my living room. I do have a video somewhere....I'll see if I can find it.

    I have a Borla system on my BBI for street play. The original Euro system is fitted for concours. The nice thing about the Borla is its a modular design. I didn't like the over silenced original mufflers, so had shorty SS glasspacks fitted. The result? Well hear it for yourself. Under full acceleration of course.

    The BBi and the TR having basically the same engine, sound should be very similer I guess. Wow I'll love it if it sound like that.

    I dont know about hp ratings but its definitely a lot lighter that the stock exhaust. very quiet at idle but when you floor very nice throaty sound. And I like the look of it. Each header has its own independent muffler
