    While removing the front panel of the drivers door, this is the panel with the interior light switch, I found a loose black wire, OEM. The other wires are all connected and everything works; door light, electric window, interior light. Does any one know what this wire is for? The passenger side did not have this wire, I looked.

    Sounds like an earth for the red door open light.
