    Hi all,

    Hoping for some help...

I just acquired tool and jack kits in a parts deal. The kits include a round tow hook and a USAG ratchet wrench and spark plug tools. Based on this I am 90% sure this is from a Testarossa. Could the experts here please confirm? Also what years?

    Many thanks...Jim

    Jim, you are correct, Testarossa.

Yes for a 1988.5 to 1991 Testarossa. More specifically, from 1988 car no. 75997 (RHD)/76004 (LHD)/75998 (USA) to end of production (1991). The tow hook is correct but by design won't fit (Ferrari oversight).

Thanks guys, this is really helpful. Any ideas on value? Kits are complete and pristine.

These kits would also be correct for earlier Testarossa cars with addition of center lug wrench and hammer, yes?

It is for a late US TR. Mid period car has a different alt belt and an early kit has the wrench and hammer. Non US cars have no air pump belt, a different fuse and bulb kit and a safety triangle.

All kits should include 2 spark plugs as well.

I have used and seen used that tow hook on a number of cars. To say it fits none is just not correct.

Did this type of jack set ever come with a handle as part of the strap ?

I truly like the 3/8 drive universal. It doesn't flop around like most.
