Hello all, Well I thought I had solved my surging idle with an ECU reset. Clearly I have not. At idle this car goes up and down in rpms constantly. I picked up some Bosch O2 senors today in the hopes this may be the issue. Any other advice appreciated. Also, when it does idle at one rpm it seems to be quite high. All advice appreciated. I also have to correct my title, it is actually idling at about 1800 rpm and surging to 2700.
I have had a few other people suggest the same thing. I can actually hear an air noice coming from the right side of the motor but cannot trace a bad line. Any suggestions ?
+1. Hard to say my friend. I would just look around to see if any hoses are off their intended place. Especially around the right hand side of the engine if you say there is a noise coming from there.
