I would love to come. I used to live in Lenoir and have many friends there. Well, I call them friends. I don't know what they call me. That mountain looks familiar. I used to live at Cedar Rock and the hill behind my house looked like that one.

 

Really? When did you leave? And what did you do when you lived here?

 

We left early 1995 to help start a company in Ohio. I worked for Sealed Air while in Lenoir. We were only there for three years.

 

Sealed Air!! A neighbor of mine named Jerry Akins used to work there.

The mountain is called "Hibriten." I live in a neighborhood called "Treemont Park."

 

I know Jerry and see him regularly. The most recent two weeks ago. Technically, Jerry is still with Sealed Air. The company He is with now is a joint venture between Sealed Air and 3M. I know Hibriten. I walked up it once, don't want to do it again. I come through Lenoir frequently on my way up the mountain. It will be a lot nicer when 321 is finished, the road is torn up pretty bad right now.

 

He is a great guy. We still live in the same neighborhood.

 

I'd sure be up for it John!

CAFE is alive and well in the Charlotte area! We've got a nice Ferrari Convoy headed to Spartanburg this Saturday morning for the Euro Fest. I can't speak for everyone, but my wife and I would definitely enjoy a nice Fall drive up 321. We live in Huntersville.
