16m. Fast with no extras. Sounds amazing shifts like a rocket. Modern enough and evocative of the old ones.

I love Brian’s saying. I’m feeling more and more like that daily. Nothing to prove and the things I long for are old already.

I'm always looking for something to replace my 430 manual. Every time I get excited about something different that I want and could afford I slap myself and say don't be stupid. I just know I would regret it for ever. 7 years in and I'm pretty sure it's a keeper.

I am fortunate to have 3:

    1986 328 GTS
    1990 Testarossa
    2011 458 Italia

Which one is the keeper? The one I just finished driving LOL.

That's the deal. As we age we all got issues. We need a Ferrari we can get in and out of, reliable if there is such a thing, and driveable by old people. That's why I have owned 2 550s and still own one. I cam still fix it and I know the model quirks. Worst case I can stand over a mechanic and tell him what to do as I eat my sandwich. I can feel the life leaving me. I just finished contortions to weld my latest rollcage and this one took 3x the time and my body was 3x as sore as the last build. This could be my racecar before my next track car becomes my 550 on street tires tracking but no longer racing.

Okay, since you asked Texas Forever:

The 328 GTS, fits like the most comfortable pair of sneakers you've ever had. It is tight, compact and fits like a glove. Fun to drive
and throw into a corner. Beautiful car and I love every moment behind the wheel.

The 458 Italia has the most advanced tech and striking features and attracts a crowd always. But almost too easy to drive in some ways.
But I can't stop driving the car. It is too much fun!.

The Testarossa. It is very iconic and idiosyncratic. But on a open road, when you hit the throttle and hear the whine of those 12 cylinders spooling up....
Well, the clouds part, the sun shines and the angels sing. Just like Enzo intended.

Hope that was sufficiently vague for you :D;)

    Texas!
I get it. Why choose if you don’t have to?

Funny, I’ve always wanted a T-Rex. I know, I know, it’s not the best driving Ferrari. But when you’re driving down the road with some cool blade steel…

250 SWB for me, because it would have to be a V12 car.

Sadly I thought so also. 11 years in. Had a baby seat.

But I wasn’t driving it relative to my other fcars. That’s when I knew.
I guess I should have never bought a garage mate.

But when it was competing against an 812 and F8 and a euro 360 spider. Not much seat time.

I’m glad someone else is driving it now.

    Question
Is this topic money is no object you can buy one Ferrari and only one for the rest of your life ?

Or of the Ferraris YOU could buy which would you buy if you could only have one. Because with the auction prices I don’t know what I could buy anymore.

But either way TDF has to be up there for me.

Forever is a long time and as I age the mid rear engine cars seem to make me look more physically challenged getting in or out than I would like. Therefore 812SF or GTS(ur choice) adult, refined with a wild side.

If money was no object I think I could part with my 430 manual for this. In less than a heartbeat.

Got mine. Don't need another. Stick 360 bought for less than $60k. No reason to sell.

(Though I *might* be convinced to buy another just cause...)

Beauty cars..but not too practical for daily forever use as your only car. Would prefer a roof for those rainy days..a heater for those cold days..and a/c for the hot days..maybe some proper modern tires..a 6 speed gearbox for proper cruising and to keep up with modern traffic and not be a general hazard on the road ways.

Love that car..but definatly IMHO..not a car to as your only means of transport..

I'm guessing you have never driven anything like that. It's absolutely exhilarating. Plus... I could just look at it.

    An f12tdf would be awesome.

But a zr1 Corvette does just about the same thing.

Nothing here suggesting a daily driver. Pure fantasy of which Ferrari you want to have to drive whenever you want.

As mentioned in a similar thread (no change of mind), Ferrari FF/Lusso. The ultimate car: gorgeous, super powerful, super performances, daily-driver, 4 real seats, luxury, 4wd, it has everything in 1 package!

I’m good with what I have, an Italian icon with specs no sub-$1M Ferrari can match and the best car from the first 100+ years of the American automobile industry.

It's hard to say without having driving one but since this thread is for fun I'm going to say a 67 330GTC coupe. I love the looks and the sound and it appears to be big enough for me to be comfortable in.
