If it aint broke keep fixing it until it is....

sigh, my life is a living hell....
OK, who the hell would have ever imagined it takes a "correct way" to change a set of windshield wipers...not I. I figured was about the easiest task anyone could do on a car....

So I get my new wiper blades lift up on the arm to remove the old one, so far so good. I take off the blade but that little plastic adapter is stuck in the curvy hook end...hmmmm. Lemme pull the arm a tad more to me so I can remove this piece without f'n somethin up....Pretty smart thinking..."CLICK"

ONO, I know that sound, its the sound of something breaking in half...well I will be a son of &())(*_)&*^&%$ ...
The arm has a second "arm" that swivels & that swivel arm has a pivot point with a really small piece that fits into a brass bushing.

Trust me it is better for you to not know these pieces I am talking about, BEFORE you change blades be aware that arm lifts only so far without you knowing what I am talking about.

I tried my damndest to repair it (JB Weld the small pivot back)...so after f'n with it for an hour I did what any southerner would....I got at the old angle grinder cut the damn second arm off flush at the top & JB welded the arm in a straight position.
I will get a new one (around $400) just to have it right, but for now it works...
Moral of the story, If it aint broke dont fix it....
