Do you favor the Ferrari F1 team irrespective of who will be driving for the Scuderia, or are you strictly a Michael Schumacher fan? And if he leaves, you will support a different team.

I support the Scuderia. If Schumi moves on, so be it -- I was never really a fan of his. Rubens, on the other hand, I will support and root for him at Honda.

I jumped on the Ferrari thing back in 81. MS has just been a gift from God to me. I do not think he will drive after Ferrari which will make watching F1 MUCH easier for me. I want Ferrari to win and I want MS to win too. That problem will be solved.

Hehe, I have actually the opposite problem:

I love the Scuderia to death but I don't want MS to win anymore. I guess I'll be rooting for Massa and the Red Bull team this year...

Always been a Ferrari fan especially during the trouble times. If anything MS wining ways has taken away some of my support to the team. When I started backing them (1984) they certainly weren't the team to beat. I guess the under-dog status is what I liked. Sure on paper they should have been winning a lot more back then but…

No wonder I'm pulling for Williams and Toyota this year. Sorry guys.

Well, this is Ferrarichat, not Schumichat: Ferrari 100%, Schumacher 0%. What else could be expected?

I love Ferrari and will feel better when Schumacher leaves. Despite his championships, I have never liked him and look forard to his departure.

For me it's been kind of strange. Back in the early 90's I always pulled for Ferrari since they were a bit of a 2nd-tier team, and I pulled for MS since he was so much fun to watch race. I was thrilled when they announced he was joining Ferrari. '96 was kind of fun since they were still bumbling around a bit. But after the thrill of winning I got a little tired of both parties.

I think if F1 stabilized its rules and allowed teams to become more competitive it would be easier to enjoy a dominant team. Victories seem better enjoyed when earned on the track than in the wind tunnel.

I love Ferrari. I would have loved to see Senna in there but it wasn't meant to be. When MS retires he will be missed but not by me...........:)

I'm amazed (and positively surprised) at the responses to this question. I always had the feeling FChat was primarily Schumichat. I mean just look at one of the races of last year where MS made a really stupid mistake (e.g. Melbourne against Nick), yet most people defend the guy to their grave. Maybe all the Schumi adorers haven't voted yet?

I'm with Ferrari all the way.

Just hope JPM never drives for the scuderia... And Villeneuve...And Jenson Button.

I'd love to see Kimi drive red. (not the current McClaren "Crash test dummy Orange")

I think many people are for MS mainly because he has made Ferrari winners again. If you love the team, you naturally love him. Yet Ferrari would still be Ferrari without him and it's the teams history and mystique that people are truly drawn to. It's not so much love for MS it's more love for the team. I, and some others love the team but don't care for MS so much.

Ferrari first, Honda second and Jensen Button third. I don't care who drives for who. Only been watching F1 since last year.... after I bought my Ferrari ;)

Jensen because he is British and seems a real down to earth decent bloke.

    Schumi ain't bad though.

To me Ferrari is my favorite team by far and is borne out by the vastly greater memorabilia, diecasts and such that I have of Ferrari vs other teams.

But drivers to me are far more important and Schumacher, Alonso, Raikkonen and Montoya are my faves with Schumacher being the best of the lot.

If I would have to choose between a driver and a team it would be a driver all the way...
