    in the north Austin/Georgetown area, who should I call for a tow (and where do they tow it) that will not damage my car?

    I signed up with AAA because, as I understand it, you can request a flatbed tow. Never, never, let anyone hook up you car to a hoist.

    2 a.m. breaks on I35. who do I call and where do they take it? david did my PPI and so I know his shop - not where I want it dropped off with the keys in it in the middle of the night, if you know what I mean. also, I doubt david will arrange for a flatbed to come get me in the middle of the night. just trying to think ahead - murphy's law you know.

    with this (out of warranty cars breaking down). What do I do/who do I call if it is afterhours/weekends?

    Call Moorespeed and ask them who they use for towing. Keep the phone number in your wallet and in your car. If the car breaks at 2am on a Saturday, call the tow truck and have them take the car to your house. Call them again Monday morning and have it towed to the mechanic. It will be a $100 insurance policy that pays off immediately.
