Just had to post. I just returned from Vegas and I stayed at the ARIA in the Sky Suites. My suite was fantastic. Just a recommendation and well worth the money. The Venetian is the place I usually stay but as long as the ARIA suites maintain the service and appearance they will easily remain my new Vegas stop. If you are planning a trip you should consider a Sky Suite. :) Ask for 38th floor or above, the view was incredible.

I just Googled the pictures, seems very nice. I may try it next time I am there.
But, how much is the room on average?

Hey Scott, sounds like a great time. I'm going once in May on biz and once in June for my son's 30th. I inquired with some residents about interesting suites but hadn't heard anything as yet. I've got a Bellagio Penthouse for May but just looked at the room you had and that's a great deal on a nice place! What days were you there? (weekend or no) Since Dad is paying (that would be me) I get to set the dates. Any particular service you used or did you book direct? Come to town and I'll buy drinks in exchange for the info! :)

Hey JC. I used expedia and I stayed Wednesday until Sunday. The service was excellent. The best part is you have a private check in desk with a private lounge. No long wait to check in or out. They serve wine and cheeses in the evening and all breakfast juices and small breakfast snacks in the lounge area at no extra charges. That alone was worth the additional cost of the suites because just OJ at the buffet was $7.50 a glass but I could just pickup a free OJ at the lounge bar each morning. It really was super. You control the entire room from your TV remote. You can adjust the thermostat, open and close curtains, adjust lights and put on privacy light all without getting out of the bed. My room had one full and one half bath, three flatscreen TV's and was about 10 stories above the hotels around it and I was only on the 39th floor. It is worth the stay. I hope you have a blast.

I recommend Barmasa for some pretty unusual suishi. Quite good. I like it better than Nobu.

    Not cheap though...

Valet service there is excellent. Never had a problem. Unlike other hotels, they have infinite valet space. I park there and walk to other hotels in the area, including the Cosmo and NYNY.

I highly recommend the 61st floor at Cosmopolitan, north facing penthouses. Amazing view of the strip and city.

view from the 38th floor at the Cosmo. Being to high tends to disconnect me from the strip. 30-40 is about right with a balcony.

edit: tried to flip the pic with no luck.
