Where in the world would you go for 2 weeks, to do anything? End of June is when I'd go. Any ideas?

It would be a tossup between Hawaii and Italy.

I never go to the ocean in summer. Too hot, too crowded. I go at Thanksgiving. We're going toward Pittsburgh at the end of June to do some antiquing along rte 30 and staying at a great B&B in Union (Century Inn). We're coming back along rte 40 for dinner at the South Mountain Inn (MD).
575M will have a good time.

Monaco, France, Germany, India :D I would love to go to Monaco and Dubai, except end of July you'll burn since it will be like 120 plus humidity.

Diving Great Barrier Reef is an incredible trip. You can also do a few days in
New Zealand while you're close. Lots of contrasts and possibilities.Feel free to PM if you like that sort of thing.

I spend it in Africa...couple different locations though. I'd start in South Africa, and work my way up into the Kenya/Tanzania area and see lions and stuff

    Either Ireland, or the Mediterranean.

Also might go to Nigeria and knock off some scammers :)

Italy during F1 weekend at Monza, then trip around the rest of the country for the rest of the time.

BTW, Zingara 250GTL, if you see somebody in a white POS Civic waving while your on 40, it will be me. I drive that road all the time. Watch for the police, they are getting a little thick there.

Just ask yourself where you WILL NOT be able to go in a few years...

You can always go to Hawaii anytime...

One of these days you MIGHT find yourself married with children, and then you won't be going ANYWHERE 'exotic' for 20 years.

    Travel NOW.

Go visit PAP, and take him some spare parts - that's what I would do.

If you like to snorkel or scuba dive, the Maldives are a great choice. The fad is to stay in the water bungalows, but find a resort that has beach bungalows with individual plunge pools for each bungalow. Four Seasons has those, although I'm told there are better resorts.

    http://www.visitmaldives.com/

Plus, the Maldives is one of the places slated to disappear when the sea level rises, so go while they're still there! 8O
