So what are the conditions?? 1) You can only choose 1 car in each category. 2) The car has to be suitable for each category. ie (No 599GTO's as a Daily Driver) 3) The race car must be a homologated race car. ie (not a standard GT3 RS). 4) The superlight must be road registered. Category 1 - A Daily Driver. (Comfortable to use everyday with a decent boot) Category 2 - A Grand Tourer. (2 Door saloon for mowing highways down in style) Category 3 - A 4WD. (Ideal to take the family to the snow & tow the race car) Category 4 - A Race Car. (You are going to race in ALMS, FIA GT1, GT2 or GT3) Category 5 - A Superlight track car. (Ideal for trackdays or runs up the hills) I look forward to reading your 5 choices!
My Choices are; Category 1 - Daily Driver - Mercedes C63 Category 2 - Grand Tourer - Mercedes SLS Category 3 - 4WD - Porsche Cayenne Turbo Category 4 - Race Car - Porsche GT3 RSR Category 5 - Lightweight - Lamborghini Superleggera LP-570
1 - Audi RS5 2 - Merc SL 63 3 - BMW X5 Diesel 4 - Porsche GT3/RS 5 - Caterham R500 ..and.. 6 - Italia 458 (the forgotten "Exotic for hell of it and no "practical" use whatsoever" lol) ..and.. 7 - some supercharged V8 (the "unnecessarily overpowered muscle car" category) I could go on.. I need about 11 spaces without counting motorbikes..
so, if no Ferraris are on your list then why are you here on fchat ? just another sh!tstirrer trying to prove Ferraris are crap ? Mercs = boring old man's car Porker = competent but boring car Lambo = look at me car
I cant say i really agree with your categories, as DD and Tourer could quite happily be the same. 4WD is redundant as i hate 4x4's and lightweight & race car could be the same but here goes. My Choices are; Category 1 - Daily Driver - New Polo GTi Category 2 - Grand Tourer - Audi RS4 Avant Category 3 - 4WD - Bowler Nemesis Category 4 - Race Car - Mclaren MP4/8 or Lotus Type 77 Category 5 - Lightweight - Lamborghini Superleggera LP-570
I actually had the 599 GTO as my last car then changed it late doors for the Lambo. Do you want to hear the worst part. I'm a Wog!! Even got myself an Italian Passaporto!!
No Ferrari's here either...... I am not sure about the GT as the daily Driver. In my Choice a C63 is an easy car to drive. 4 doors, proper boot. The SLS would be a tough everyday driver...
late model Bentley Anarge. Bnetley continental S (1995 model) Supercharge Rangie 500bhp current factory spec Porsche race car Cup S? 993 RS/Cs
Nice, good response. Category 1 - Audi S5 Category 2 - Mercedes Benz SL65 Category 3 - I'll leave this blank as I have no interest in that sort of car, and if I had a real race car, I'm sure I'd have a real truck to pull it along with the mobile service centre etc etc Category 4 - Corvette C6R Category 5 - Zonda F
yeah but a DD is best to be a small zippy car that can dart in and out of traffic and just be fun to drive, so the GTi is about the fastest tiny car around at present. but realistically, if it were 1 dd car and 4 others, it would be RS4 Avant as a DD F40 Diablo 6.0 or SE30 Gallardo 570-4 997 GT3 RS
they go,blast to drive. I kick myself about 5 years ago they were about 220k US when our dollar was strong.
back seat with a rug,he just sleeps. he stays with my parents when I'm away, goes everywhere in there Rolls Royce.
On looks alone, the Cinque never quite grabbed me. Don't like the roof vent or the vents on the rear quarters.
Category 1 - Daily Driver - Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (daily and tow the race car) Category 2 - Grand Tourer - Aston Martin DBS Category 3 - 4WD - Porsche 911 Turbo S (still 4WD) Category 4 - Race Car - Porsche 935 Category 5 - Lightweight - Arial Atom
