If you could only have one carmaker in your garage who would it be? You can also include "sub brands" (e.g. If you say Audi you can have Lambo, etc.)

For me I would say Mercedes. I'd have an SLR, a Maybach, an SL55 AMG, and a CLK DTM AMG.

Probably Honda- in all seriousness. Ferrari and MB don't make bikes. Honda would also be a bit more practical in cost, maintenance, and even function.

I'd have a Honda 1000RR, Honda CRV, and probably an Accord EX V6 for a daily driver.

Sorry, but cars don't provide nearly as much enjoyment as a bike.

McLaren. Don't need anything except the F1. I'd even give up motorcycles for one.

Ershank, you'd have an NSX in that mix too, wouldn't you?

With Honda, you would also be able to have generators, lawn care products, ATVs, watercraft, scooters snow blowers so on so on.........

I dunno who I would have, maybe Lexus/Toyota. Have the supra for the performance car, and an LS430 for the ultimate in luxury, and prius for those loooong trips.

this is an interesting little question. Got me searching to see who owns who. I remember seeing a web diagram of all the car companies and who they owned, but, I'll be damned if I can find it now.

I like the Audi/Volks/Lambo/Bugatti(??) idea. And, BMW will always have something of interest to me.

If I had a choice of 4 cars, they'd be:

    - E30 M3 Coupe (Red/Tan)
    - E36 M3 Sedan (Dakar Yellow/Black OR Estoril Blue/Gray)
    - E39 M5 (White/Gray)
    - X5 4.8iS (Imola Red/Dark Sand)

LoL....Yes, I've already given this deep thought :)

2005 GT, Ford/Shelby GR1, Ford F150 or F250 or F350, you could have a motor home if you wanted as they mostly use ford chassis, a van for hauling stuff around, and suv with exploding tires!

goes on and on, but I do have a question. Would the McLaren F1 be included since it uses a BMW engine? What about the Williams BMW F1 cars?

Edit: If the person who said the SLR is included with Benz, only the engine is made by MB, not the chassis. So I think the F1 would be with BMW...

Edit #2: BMW would also include the V12 LMR, M3 GTR, M3, man BMW is AWESOME!

The F1 is no more a BMW than the DB7 is a Jaguar. There's more to a car than the power plant. Do you call the Red Bull Ferrari team Ferrari's simply because they have a Ferrari engine? No, in my opinion.

P.S. I totally agree with motion about no car provides nearly as much excitement as a HONDA bike

MOPAR! Chrysler, Benz, Jeep, Maybach and (best of all) Dodge.

I'll limit myself to four choices:
    1) Chrysler 300 SRT-8
    2) Dodge Viper SRT-10
    3) 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T
    4) SLR Mclaren

I could list more (many more), but I'll restrain myself.

Since I hate the big companies ruining the sould of small craftsmanly automakers, I will say upfront I don't want any of the GM, VW, Ford or MB crap.

I'll take a Morgan +8. That's a car that can only bring a smile to your face. Just by looking at it. Or its tech specs.

I think I would go BMW.

I love Ferrari, but I do live in Colorado so I would need an SUV for the winters. (Why am I being so practical when I can have anything?!)

    Anyways....

BMW M3....love that car, hope to get one when I head off to college
    (red on black)
BMW X5..even though SUV's usually arent on the top of my list for cool cars, the X5 is definetley one of the few.
BMW M5.....seriously, I dont need to say anything else.
