I returned with a 333sp, an F40, and a black 550 Barchetta...and no money :)
Thanksk guys for the information , I was last fridat in a Big Lot veri close to my house and i found: 333sp Dinos 246 gts yellow Barchetas (red , yellow, black) F512 F40 Great
I bought an F40. Would love to find a 456M or 355. Would have bought a 512M, but the quality was poor. Thanks! Luke.
Mule, i'll be sitting this one out as i have just about all on the list: 456M gold 360 Challenge blue w/ flames F50 silver 333SP red F40 red 246 GTS yellow 512M red i don't have a gold 456, but i have one that's Grigio Ingrid; i have the 333 SP and the 360 Challenge i purchased from Bentley/Silicon Valley, courtesy of Rich Lindell; i picked up a silver F50 months ago at a Walmart for under $20; i have an F40 courtesy of Augustine Staino; i have a 246 GTS but it's red... i picked that up at Exoticar in Manhattan for 3 times what you can get it in the store, now, for, along with a red F512M... Along with those, i also own 1:18: Enzos (2; 1 red, 1 yellow), yellow F50, red 360 & yellow 360 spider, yellow Testarossa, red 250 GTO, red 1958 250 Testa Rossa, red 1964 250 LM, black 512 BB, red 575 & a red 550 Barchetta... The Saleen, the Murcielago, the Gallardo - i've got those, too... Saleens are pretty popular in the "regular" stores like Target, KB Toys, etc... Until i drive a Lexus SC430 or a Viper, i won't pick one up in 1:18... Once i open up a toy budget again, i WILL, however, be picking up a Mini among some other non-Ferraris... Ferraris i've yet to find at the right times include: 308s/328s, 348s, 355s, Daytonas, a 288 GTO, the Mythos and i'd really like to, one day, come across a Breadvan... According to the internet, over 50 modeling companies, at one point or another, made a scale model of the Breadvan... A 1:18 Breadvan would be a huge addition to "the shelf"... A project for next year, maybe, would be to buy two F40s and convert them into replicas of Roland Linder's F40 LM... That'd be another cool model to have on the shelf...
Thats my plan for this summer when I get bored as well! Either that or making my own 355/360 Challenge car. Id love to make an F40LM though!
Scott, Thanks for the tip on this. I hit the other store in town and bought: 2 512M's 2 F40's 2 333SP's They also had yellow, red and black Barchettas, yellow Dino, PT Cruisers, BMW Z8's and a nice gold 1969 Dodge Charger.
Hey,you Arizona guys. I live in the Chicago suburbs, but have alot of family thats been out in Phoenix/Scottsdale for a long time (since the 70's) and I'll be out there full time soon. But,in the meantime,I go out there a few times a year. I have one brother who lives by Bell Rd., and 7th.St. (By the Cold Stone) And,I seem to think that I saw another Big Lots on the North side of Bell Rd.,but,West of 7th.St. But,not as far West as 16th. Av. Check it out. And,I THINK that there's another Big Lots on Cave Creek Rd.,South of Dunlap.on the East side of the street. It's around there, anyway. I don't get over on that side of town, that often, except to see 2 of my 3 brothers that live out there. My Mom,StepDad,and another brother are in Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley. And,Granny and an Uncle are right in between.
Correction. The second Big Lots store is on 7th. ST.,South of where 7th. St.,Cave Creek Rd., and Dunlap meet. Its a 6 way intersection, there's a Jack in the Box on one corner. Go a little bit South on 7th. St.,and it's on the East side of the street.
Yes there is a Big Lots at 3rd and Bell, but they are pretty dry on Ferraris, 2 F40s and one Dino is all they had. The Big Lots on 32nd and Cactus had a couple F50s and that was it. The one on Thunderbird and 35th ave is full of 550 Barchettas, but that is it.
Oh well. As I mentioned,I THINK that theres another one on the East side of 7th. ST.,a little bit South of that goofy intersection at Cave Creek Rd,.Dunlap, and 7th.St. IF my memory is correct! It's in a kind of old looking shopping center, not very busy. But,I am pretty sure that I saw one around there the last time that I was out there.(July)
Thanks for the tip. I went to 2 stores in St. Louis but only took home a yellow 246 Dino and 333SP. No F40, F50, 512, etc . A LOT of black and yellow 550 Barchettas there! $12.99 each.
