I didn't know that! However the lights were turned on while I was in there so it's probably not working. Thanks for the steer! I guess I should stop messing up this thread.
I wanted to thank you especially "Quavion" for sharing your electrical diagrams, which are extraordinarily well done and very complete. Thanks to your electrical diagrams, I was able to repair the electrical fault of my F355 F1, which was quite complex to find. Without these diagrams, it would have been almost impossible for me to find the fault. Thanks again
Hi Guys , I m looking for 355 5.2 wiring diagram for my 355 gts 1996 eurospec. Could Someone repost a "dropbox link" please. Many thks Salvi
I'm guessing Teves ABS, Salvi, but I can't remember which year Bosch ABS was introduced, so I've included both. https://www.dropbox.com/t/dclkkZi2cdusCJqa
Hello everyone, I was hoping I could get a link for a wiring diagram as well. I’ve been working on a 1995 F355, and I’m hoping to find an electrical diagram for the ABS system. I believe that it should be for a 2.7 motronic car. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
This should help, Richard https://www.dropbox.com/t/QDbV7y5Hb7OTLwyI Unfortunately, most of the components are hidden under the front luggage compartment liner. One good thing about the system is that it has a relatively easy diagnostic test. A 5 or 10 amp fuse is required. You may also need this diagram as it shows some interconnections: https://www.dropbox.com/t/PAR1uCI0O0KWmDgY
You don't have a full set already? 2.7 set here: https://www.dropbox.com/t/A1NEZGF0Ff1qTtm9 5.2 set here: https://www.dropbox.com/t/VxgagjqOxIkxqpfF
Thank you so much Ian. No, I havn't got a full set. The old site that was live for many years that allowed you to download the schematics isn't there anymore and I didn't download them. Thankyou again.
Thank you very much!! This is excellent, it will greatly help me out. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks Ian, even though i haven’t any electrical problems, you are always there to help out fellow members with their problems.
I was hoping you could also get me a link for the 2.7 diagram I have someone going on between relay box under foot pane and ecu cel 1-4 not illumination and I did get it to temporarily work then it shut down again. Thanks for your help I appreciate it very much. Have a great weekend.
Here's the 2.7 instrument diagram: https://www.dropbox.com/t/rzWlSmmcXIpDRj75 and here is the RH engine ECU diagram: https://www.dropbox.com/t/Sgc1QKo20NzOJcN5 Basically, the 1~4 CEL depends on getting power from relay L (which is energised by the RH Engine ECU) and an earth from the RH ECU. If you can figure out what is missing, it will tell you if the relay panel is a potential problem (the earth circuit doesn't involve the relay panel). The "earth" wire is white/red ("BR"). The power wire should be green ("V").
Great thank you very much this will help shed some light on the situation and hopefully get her up and running well again. I appreciate your quick reply and provided links. Cheers have a great weekend.
If your car is operating normally, relay L must be operating normally. The relay panel, however, outputs power to the instrument panel on a unique pin (C-6). The only way to access the pins is to unbolt the relay panel and drop/fold it down. C-6 shown here. Image Unavailable, Please Login If you decide to test the voltage at the instrument panel with the right hand instrument panel plug disconnected, don't do it if you you have an airbag. It will set the airbag light.
So the other day I had opened up the relay panel after I noticed the lights were not coming on and they were not illuminating then I stumbled across another post that mentioned the relay being bad so I kinda riddled them around turned ignition on and it was good it started and ran for about 10 minutes then started running roughly so I turned it off and turned ignition back on to see if the lights were off for 1-4 and they were so I slightly flicked the relay with my finger tip and the lights were intermittent. So I swapped the 30amp relay to the 5-8 location with no success and now I’m not getting them intermittent either. Any suggestion before I start tracking and checking wires? Thank you very much for your help I appreciate it.
Update: I tested pin6 for power I am not getting power at pin 6 it seems as if the e i is not powering up on that side
These boards are getting old. When you say you opened up the relay panel did you mean you split it in half and looked at the solder connections? Image Unavailable, Please Login As the faulty part of the circuit seems to be the power side of the lamp (as you were messing around with the relay panel), all I can suggest is doing continuity checks between relay "O" contacts and the relay panel connector (to check the internals of the panel). Relay sockets 30 and 87 carry the power to the lamp. Figure out which is live battery power with a voltmeter, then do a resistance check between the non-live pin and that wire I showed in the photograph in post 118 and 119. (Sorry, crossposted)
I'm assuming your car is otherwise operating normally, so it looks like you've confirmed that the problem is from the relay contact to pin 6. Just carry out the test I described above. Did you inspect the sockets and pins on that connector?
When I got the lights to come back on in the on position then car started and ran as it should and When it begins running rough it seems like it’s losing power completely to the whole right side. I didn’t not split the relay board just folded it down to access the terminals/ plug. Like I said when I swap the relays from slot to slot the problem remains on the right side ecu/injector power issue. So it seems it’s isolated to that relay I’ll see if I can do the check you recommended and clean the contacts to make sure they are making a good connection
If your car is playing up, then it's not simply the wiring from the relay to pin 6 which is faulty. Standby... I'll look at the circuit...
