Does your girlfriend or wife look at your car as a new home remodel? If she could get away with it, would she get rid of your ride?

    Nope.

If she was in charge, we'd have a 250 GT Lusso and a 360 to match the Dino.

She loves the beauty of Ferraris as much or more than I do, if that's possible.

Every time we go to Algar, she's eyeing up a 348, 355, 360 or 550 and trying to figure out which kid can go to community college so we can afford another one.

Only Fcar we've seen that she doesn't like is the Testarossa, OH WELL.. That (of course) is the one I'd like to get next.

I don't think she'd let me sell the 365, we've had too much fun with that car.

    She's indifferent with Mongo...

She would personally push the 360 out of the garage and all the way to the dealer over the Golden Gate Bridge if she had the chance!

The Ferrari is joint property; my wife said she wouldn't let me sell it even if I wanted to. To her, there are lots worse "guy" things than classic cars: Flying small airplanes, heavy golfing, huntin' and fishin', and motorcycles on the commonplace end; Everest climbs, participatory auto racing, skydiving, deep sea diving, and other women on the more exteme end. I have no interest in pursuing any of these activities, any of which already is or can become at least as expensive as owning a Ferrari. My wife worries about the safety aspects of a 40 year old high performance car but does acknowledge that I'm probably a better driver in it than our other cars.

We would have to build a second garage to house an additional Ferrari or other classic, but if finances were no object she would have no problem with me having another Ferrari and my own garage and shop for my cars.

As long as the household income can support it (comfortably), she has no objection. Although she has confessed that compared to my (ex) fiat Spider, repairs make her nervous.

She'd keep the car and sell me. Second thoughts, she'd actually pay to have me taken away, what she would call a good investment.
