Tell a 308 owner he has as much horsepower as your average Nissan sedan sold today.

 

Add that the Nissan has a higher power/weight ratio.

 

I think the more expensive the car the sharper the owner is. I guess someone could win the super lotto and buy an expensive car that will appreciate in value. The real question is, would they be smart enough to?

I am pretty good at sniffing out the BS. Being a landlord for my entire life tends to make a person that way. I am not so good at the smack down part though. The way I figure it is if the person is a liar that's all I need to know and it is of no value to me to call them out. Kind of like that Brent guy who was on here. I knew he was up to no good but just let it go. I talked with dr.strangelove and he agreed next time my alarm goes off to email him and he'll take care of it. So really I don't think it's one person but a group of people who ban together to keep this site free of the BS. It's a quality I really enjoy about this site.

 

kind of off topic, but my parents are landlords and there is the one tenant that always has some b.s. about why she can't pay her rent. I guess as long as she pays it eventually it doesn't matter, but like she'll say she mailed the rent when I live next door to her and she can give it to me. Then 5 days later she drops off a check. If you mailed it why would you drop off a check? Of her deposit check bounced and she claimed someone comprimised her bank account, yet all of her rent checks are drawn on the same account. At least that is when she pays her rent with a check. Sometimes it's cash, in which case I have suspicions that she "escorts" to pay the rent since I've seen various men show up for "dates" are her apartment that never come by again and magically her rent is paid in cash. Hmmmm..........

 

A lot more honest and honorable than a lot of "professional" people I know.

 

I pay my rent in Money Orders, just to avoid all the "stories"...they can never post the water bill right, though....

Don't screw around with the Common308Owner, as there's a lot of them....

 

360/430 owners, theres a TON of them in Toronto and I know about or know personally the owners of some of them who are BAD BAD BAD dudes, eg; drug dealers,Bikers,mafia members etc.,

 

348 owners.

Already have a serious chip on their shoulders having bought "The worst Ferrari EVER built." Even the boss at Ferrari says so.

So, mix a guy with "The WORST Ferrari EVER built" with any kind of confrontation and you have an explosive situation. A VERY explosive situation.

Any of you 348 owners want to contribute anything to this? Huh, do ya? Do ya huh?? I can't hear you.

A chip? No, just a brain, as the 348 was the perfect solution to retain a car with classic 'Ferrari Lines' with a more dependable model.
