    Hi,

I have a fault code (p0354) in my 612 saying that om the left bank the cylinder 4 coil is faulty. I have searched the forum for info on finding the exact location of the faulty coil but without any luck.

I understand that the left bank is om the drivers side. Is the faulty coil, seen from the front of the engine the fourth or is it the fourth seen from the rear of the engine?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Coil on plug ignitions like the 575M and 612 F133 engines have the coil right on top of the spark plug. This keeps high voltage out of the spark plug wires since only a low voltage fire signal goes through the wires.

Easy to change, but usually have to remove some stuff first to get to it.

Thanks but I was looking for the specific location of the faulty coil. The error code says left bank cylinder 4. So do You have to count the cylinder numbers from the front of the engine to the back? Or is it from the back to the front?

    Hi,

I don't have a fault code, but my car hesitates to start when cold. It stalls below 1000rpm for half a sec before revving up to cold idle. Also the oil level is higher than the maximum on dipstick.
We changed the spark plugs and had a major service. We didn't change the ignition coils and haven't tested the injectors.
Which of the two is more likely to cause my issue? Any other ideas?

    Thanks,
    Gyorgy
