    I have a 1994 348. Can leaving the ignition key on for a long time damage the coil. I was trying to pair my blue tooth and i phone and had the igntion key turned on for too long. Would appreciate any advice i can get.

    I may be wrong, but on a breakerless ignition system I don't think leaving the ignition on without the engine running can damage the "coil". Might run the battery down, but it should take a charge OK. Experts?
