    Has anyone located a replacement for the spring and carbon electrode that goes in the Marelli distributor? I know they are made for other cars but not for the testarossa and I thought I might locate a crossover.

    I had a terrible time finding a distributor carbon electrode for a Boxer. I tried a few places and the ones I got were generally too thick. Thought about turning them down in a lathe but do not have that type of equipment. I ended up buying a crappy old distributor cap that had a good spring and carbon electrode with it. Still going strong 10 years later. Good luck. Drew

    G.T.C.Parts has a replacement spring and carbon electrode for sale.
