    Need to get the key code for my '89 328 GTS and was wondering the best way to go about obtaining it. I do have the original books on the car but not sure where this key code information is kept on the older Ferraris. Thanks for any suggestions or knowledge on this task.

    The key code was on a small metal tag that was attached to the key ring. It is supposed to be recorded somewhere but often was not.

    If you have the warranty book issued to that car they used to have a space there for the code but it was often not filled in by the selling dealer.

    Well if you don't need it right away, you can go to your ferrari dealer with title in hand and they can fax it to ferrari north america and in six weeks or less you will have new keys and your original code
