Am pondering a set of Magnecor wires and NGK Iridium IX plugs. I know how to do it, but I'd like to know how you all feel about those products, as well as other options!

    Thank's Guy's... and Gal(s)?

How much did you get your wires for?

    and...

Forgive me, but what caps do you speak of? This is my first try at a Ferrari :)

I think the Magnecors cost around £145 in the UK. They are specially made for the 348.

The spark plugs need to have a cap on the end of them. When we put them in originally, the magencors would'nt fit. When you take the old ones out you'll notice them. No big deal, just buy a cheap set of NGK plus that have them.

Can't understand why the iridiums don't come with them whilst the cheapy ones do.

    No joke... What a jip.

Thanks for the advice, though. I'd be uber-pissed if I went to do the job and wound up short 8 cheap caps!

www.kingsborne.com I am very happy with their 355 wire sets. They use the same factory oem Beru connectors on each end.

Magnecor and Kingsborne and OEM wires are all fine. The Kingsborn wires have a lifetime guarantee, which is nice. That's what I use at the moment.

Just be sure to put your dielectric grease on the **ceramic** portion of your NGK spark plugs (never on any metal, anywhere).
