I'll Be in the Area Next Week

I wanted to say I really enjoyed meeting some of you at the GTG in Biloxi back in March. Sorry I couldn't bring the F Car, but the Maserati was a nice substitute.

I'll be back on the MS Coast next week and as fate would have it, two of the Radio Stations I used to work at are having a reunion, so I'm staying for the weekend.

I was in Radio and TV for over 20 years, including B97 and KOOL FM in New Orleans, but of all of the ones I worked at, WQID/WVMI Biloxi are near and dear to me. They were sister stations in the same building and I was one of the only DJ'S that worked on both. One was an AM Country back when AM still had an audience. The other was FM Top 40. Between the two, we had over a 90% share of the audience. We got a lot of press as no stations in the US had the per capita listening audience that we had at the time.

I haven't seen a lot of these guys for over 25 years, so it should be a hoot.

Anyway, I'll be in a rental car and on the MS Coast next week and may be staying in Slidell, LA the weekend. If anyone wants to hoist a cold one, let me know.
