this weather is making me insane. just last week i was remarking to myself "hey, the roads are damn clear, and my driveway is finally clear enough to take the CS out!" and then that night it snowed again. sheesh. not sure i can take much more of this. the current forecast shows a whole lotta rain and temps in the high 40s and low 50s. then clear. so this weekend, she's-a-comin' out! anybody want to connect on sunday? i think the boss has me booked until about noon, but after that i've got some tires that need to lose some rubber. doody.

I was out in my Lotus today. Needless to say I am smilin' now. She is all cleaned up and tucked in again. I am interested in Sunday...No riders though, Sal has my other seat (measuring it up for new leather). More space for my shoes.

ha! more photographers have said they would come than Fcar owners seriously, if you would ever like it to be just a small gathering of a few guys with nice cars, please just say the word. we will all completely understand. i would rather not go than go and be an intrusion on you fellows. so in the future you know what to do if you want. otherwise, i would really like to come out on sunday. i hope some more guys will come with their cars, but i wont be dissapointed if not. whenever you decide where/whene/ or even if this is going to happen please post it right up. -Spenser

Yo Doody, I hear ya! I got the timing belts and other service all finished on the 308 and the thing is ready to go. Last night it was raining hard here and I was grinning ear to ear. Christine was like "What's up?" and I said....."It's raining like hell and I'm driving the 308 tomorrow if it's nice!!" (She just rolled her eyes, she doesn't GET IT). I'm getting ready to go out for a run in about an hour....with the car seat and Elise riding shotgun. The worst thing is that I have a set of 4 brand spankin' new wheels for the 308 sitting in the dining room.....with no tires on them yet!! D'oh! I would really like to take the new Mondial out on a test run, but now the Mondial is disassembled all over the garage! I would love to join you guys this weekend but I have to go to Maine and check on our house which is under construction due to a frozen pipe and subsequent flood. Have fun. Hopefully soon we can have a true spring Fchat cookout or lunch or something! Birdman

its really great to see good ol' doody with such enthusiasm for his cs to get these early season rides going but the forecast is looking damn cold for sunday and now they are moving the flurries into sunday am. Maybe just enough for the bottomless pit known as mass highway to waste some more white stuff on the now clean roads.
i'm still in sunny san francisco (it's sunny right now, though it was drizzling this morning), but i've been watching the hourly weather reports and a variety of webcams and it looks as if no flurries have fallen thus far? is that so? the forecasts say we're not off the hook for another six hours or so. fingers crossed. could one assume that the state's various DPWs haven't gone insane with prophylactic treatments for some "maybe" flurries? doody.
weather permitting, let's meet at 13:00 ET in Dedham at the Dedham Cinemas on Route 1 just north of 128/95. that's 950 Providence Highway Dedham MA for anyone who needs to map it http://maps.google.com/ . they'll be open then (unlike last time) so when you go in head all the way to the far part of the parking lot - hopefully there'll be ample room to meet up. as you're going north on Rt 1, you want to take a right just before the cinema and then a left into the lot. i'm not too concerned with the temperatures - just with lots of crap on the roads. doody.
