I'm a retard...

Well I had a little bit of a self-made scare last night and this morning. After a short drive yesterday I pulled the car in the garage and parked it for awhile. About 2 hours later I turned on the light and noticed a very small puddle underneath the rear of the car. I grabbed some and it was gear oil which got me really worried. I couldn't see much because it was too dark but I felt around under the area where it seemed to be coming from and felt what one finger would know as a gear. Now really worried that I lost the lower plate on my tranny I watched the clock all night because I couldn't sleep. Next morning I get to work and look up what I thought was the part in the parts catalog and called Daniel at Ricambi who kinda freeked out in disbelief when I gave him the part number for the lower cover. He called to see if he could get the part but his suggestion that since there were only 4 studs it was probably just missing the inspection plate got my hopes up. I found a picture and sure enough that's all it was...I'm so glad I'm a RETARD!!! Ordered the plate from Daniel who helped make my day. Just relieved and had to share. THANKS DANIEL!!!

 

True, I will investigate further. I'm just glad to avoid having to buy a new tranny...that would suck.
