I'm about the throw my computer out of the window!!

I had the same problem until i bought SpySweeper-worked like a charm.
If you dont want to buy it, download a yahoo toolbar-it has a built in spy removal program...and its free.

 

Although some don't like it I have found Microsoft Anti Spyware to work really well.... it's a free download at Microsoft.com

 

Apparently it doesn't remove certain stuff that Microsoft doesn't deem as spyware......... It got rid of a nasty trojan problem on a friend's computer so I can't complain too much.

 

I dunno.... I would guess it will probably take care of it. Did you try doing a google search on how to remove it?

 

This is a particularly nasty piece of software. This happened to me, the only way I could get rid of it was to follow instructions on some site (google winfixer) to remove certain files and ammend certain registry keys all in safe mode.

I would try spysweeper first though. Spy sweeper is quite good.

 

I say go for it. Throw it out. all those pron sites cause pop ups my friend

adaware appears to get rid of it, but there is no telling if it removes it completely. You need to get adaware/spybot and probably ms's antispyware product too. heck, throw me a hijackthis log file while you are at it or when you are done. drop me a pm and I can see what I can do, or help you out tomorrow (gotta gig later tonight).

 

I can work on it remotely - if needed - tomorrow if you do not have it resolved by then.

I have an older 2 gig hardrive, 127 meg RAM Dell, running Windows 98 2nd that I use all the time. SpySeeper screwed up my system, and had to uninstall, due to the lack of capacity of my system. I would NOT suggest buying SpySweeper unless you have a more modern system with greater capacity. At least they were kind enough to give me a refund...

 

Noah, go to www.download.com, search for both Spybot S&D and Adaware, you should find a couple options, look for the most downloaded one. Then, download them. After that, install them, and run them. It'll get pretty self explanatory from that point on. Even if it doesn't work, they're good anti-spyware programs to have and run once a week or two.

 

I had that mother****er too . Formated . Installed Norton Antivirus and Kerio personal Firewall . No complains eversince , no matter how many porn sites i visit
