    I'm very excited. I signed for my first Ferrari, yesterday. It's a 488GTB and on Monday I get a call telling me when I'm in the club. I wanted to know if there are other 488GTB owners in the forum? By the way I'm Canadian living in the South of Florida.

    There's actually a section on this site under "Model specific discussions" where you would probably get more responses.

    So, you were able to buy one without having first owned an older Ferrari? Good to know! Times have changed, apparently.

    Yes and no! My partner owns sport cars since a decade. I take them every now and then for a ride. Sometime for a couple of days. So I'm very used to different Ferrari models.

    Thanks for the tip concerning the section.

    Correct... We are all put on a list and they will decide who gets a car and when. The more cars you buy.. The sooner you get an allocation.

    That seems to be only a North American thing. I walked in off the street and got an F12 with fast delivery in Europe...

    US deliveries won't begin for maybe another year so you'll have quite a wait especially if the dealer has only added you to the list

    True. We seem to have it much easier on this side of the pond. Not sure if the way it is done in the US, is due to FNA or Ferrari Maranello.

    Hi Frank:

    I have a commitment from my local Ferrari dealer for one of his first allocations. They suspect allocations to open up sometime in the 4th quarter with deliveries in the 1st quarter of 2016. Unfortunately I still don't know what that means and when I might get my car. My guess is somewhere between March and July of 2016.

    What did your dealer tell you about delivery???

    BTW, I'm a Canadian living So Cal :)

    Yes, we should to that Epicracing123! I'm in Miami Beach every year between November and June. And I ordered here in Miami. I get my car from a German company. My business partner ordered all his cars there and he got them all very fast.

    Yes, it's something like Cuba. Here in Miami and the Florida East Coast. The West Coast is more American. But originally I'm from Switzerland.

    I would drive with my sport cars at night trough special areas like Little Haiti or Overtown. That wouldn't be safe!
