Hi all. Been a long time away unfortunately and mostly not by choice. It's a long story but the short version is I had been suffering a lot from Anxiety and depression. I decided to sell my 308 GTSi 3 years ago as my very close friend (we were like family) had offered me his Testarossa for a bad price as he never used it and it needed re-commissioned. Hands where shaken and the 308 put up for sale. It all went very wrong from there. I was duped into selling the car through Cons of Kensington auctions and spent the next 4 and a half months trying to get my money from them plus they sold my car for £6000 less than the agreed reserve.
Just before the 308 went to Coys my friend passed away due to a brain tumour which to this day is still such a loss to me.
After passing my friends Wife told me that it was his passing wish that the TR was to come to me, then the week I sold the 308 she sold the TR to someone else! that left no car and no money all within 2 days. I was devastated, I'd lost my best friend, my money and leastly both cars.
Anyway after a long battle with Coys and a solicitor later I got most of my money back but it meant I could not afford to get back into a Ferrari and if I'm honest I wasn't sure I wanted to after what had happened.
My friend had always had a big interest in US cars and I had decided I would like something completely different, so with him chatting away to me in my head I eventually ended up with a 2013 Chevy Camaro.

I drove that car for 2 years and I have to say that I was really impressed with it, but I eventually sold it because no matter how much I talked to it and tried it just wouldn't "transform". So what to do next.
Well it was my long suffering Wife who put me back on the Ferrari path. Just after selling the Camaro and out of the blue she asked me one evening "if you where to go for another Ferrari which one would it be".
Me "None I can't afford one".
    Her "but if you could"?
    Me "easy a 456 GTA".
    Her "oh why"?
Me "because my arthritis is going to get worse so I'd like one I can get in and out of a bit easier, I'd love a V12 before I die, it has 4 seats and I think they are timeless looking and a little grown up.
Her answer to that was "well Ive the money all sorted so go look for one, within a budget"!
So after the emotions had settled I started looking and found my dream car. 1997 Grigio with Bordeaux interior, 4oK on the clock and in budget.

I bought it from Kent High Performance In England and I have to say they where simply amazing. Nothing was any trouble to them. It was promptly serviced, new belts, new tyres, new discs and pads, instrument binnacle recovered as it had shrunk and a full years mot. They even put my reg on the car with a nice little plate on the front.

I am absolutely overjoyed with the car, it drives beautifully, it can be used everyday and will be as much as possible, and my Wife and kids have been out with me for drives as a family for the first time in ages. What a Wife I have.

Congrats, I've owned a 456M GTA for a few years now. It's been an absolute delight. Can't say a bad thing about it. Really great car. I think you'll enjoy!
