My new ride was delivered today. 355 in argento Nurburgring on black w/6 spd. Mmmmm. After having sold my 348CH last summer to sherpa23, I lasted about a year before feeling the need to have a Ferrari in the garage. So after a short hiatus, I'm back . . . . <queue music from the end of the "Color of Money"> Transaction was absolutely the smoothest, and the way a deal should happen. The seller, another FChatter who can choose to reveal himself if he wants, was fantastic. It was an old school, handshake deal. Car is as advertised, though only some robust driving is really going to prove it out! Now I have to read through some of those old 355 threads that I ignored for years Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats on your new toy. I see that your in Ponte Vedra. I'm in Saint Johns and my new toy a 98 355 Spider is set to be delivered tomorrow. I always meet up with a few other Ferrari owners at Cars and Coffee the second Saturday at the Times Union building downtown Jacksonville. Hope to see you there.
Those don't look like challenge feels from that angle. Nevertheless beautiful car. Congrats! Enjoy her in good health.
I know whose car that belonged too. I recognize the wheels, great guy too. Plus you get the added bonus of a great mechanic that worked on the car too
Beautiful car. Welcome back to the fold. Looking forward to seeing more photos of your adventures. Robb
I'm more than happy that Mark got the car. It is a "circle of life" kind of thing. I bought the car 11 years ago from Sherpa23 (Ryan) , Ryan bought Marks car and Mark bought my car that I bought from Ryan! Mark is a super guy. We spoke a few times, he asked perfect questions, I did my best to tell him everything I could think of regarding the car. He will do a couple cosmetics and have a fantastic car for many years to come. Now I am enjoying my new McLaren. But, Ferrari is a part of me and I have little doubt I will be back in the fold someday. My greatest hope was that Mark would be happy with the car. It was maintained by my personal friend, Eugenio. I never took a shortcut when it came to maintenance. But, it is an 18 year old car! My sincere prayer is that Mark drives the car until the wheels come off. I just found a couple things I will be sending to him!
