A couple actually tried to rob a bank in order to pay a scammer that promised them a couple million ... it was in the news a while ago. There again, what do the scammers have to lose? Send a million emails, it's gonna cost zilch ... there are more idiots than one in a million, so the odds are in the scammer's favour...
