After making several trips to Italy, and connecting with a vintage car rental specialist in Tuscany, and at the urging of friends, I have put together a 12 day/11 night tour of Italy this Spring, starting in Rome on March 29. The full details are available at http://tinyurl.com/AT-Italy.

What may interest most of the people here is that the supplier I am working with in Tuscany has a 1979 308GTS in their fleet, so if you've ever dreamed of spending a week or two in Italy, behind the wheel of a Ferrari, you now have your chance. The itinerary has been designed to combine great roads, great eats, great wine, and a number of activities designed to engage our significant others. These include spa treatments, cooking demonstrations, and a guided tour of the museums of Florence.

To insure that the experience is beyond first rate, there's room for only five couples and two couples have already signed up so if you're interested, please contact me.

On an unrelated note I'm becoming obsessed with learning what happened to the 1980 308 GTSi I owned from 1985 to 1991. It was chassis number 34047 and the last I saw of it was when I sold it in New Jersey in mid-1991. If anyone knows where it is now, please let me know. The attached photo is of me driving the car at Watkins Glen at the 1990 FCA National Meet.
