Hi,great looking standard example.Just changed tyres on mine and noticed my wheels are the same as yours, front and back spokes facing opposite directions. Most other pics seem to show both wheels on each side in the same direction as your rear, can anybody shed some light on what is correct 4me please and is it just for a visual effect or does it effect things like brake cooling etc.?Dont mean to hijack your thread mate, its just that iv had my baby 12months now and never noticed, but now i have its bugging me.Hope you enjoy your new toy as much as me.

    Congratulations on your 348's, mates!

Yes, the rear wheel on the pictured 348 is installed correctly, but the front is on the wrong side. There is a minimal brake cooling effect from the directional rotation of the wheels, but the important thing is to make sure that your tires are rotating in the correct direction, if they have a directional tread pattern. Each wheel on the 348 fits on a specific corner, if done correctly. So you have to specify the direction of rotation for the wheel when you have the tire mounted onto it, and match accordingly. You don't want tires with directional tread rotating backwards.

Congrats on the car!!! Looks Great!1

Yes, rears are correct. However.... make sure your tires are rotating the correct way!! These tires should have an arrow on them that shows the correct direction of rotation. If the wheels were on the wrong wheels the last time new tires were installed, the tires might be going in the right direction now. That means if you swap the LF for the RF and RF for the LF, the wheels will be correct, but the tires will be going the wrong direction!! Hopefully, someone just mistakenly installed the wrong tire/wheel on the wrong corner at some point after the tires were installed.

Not sure if tire life or speed rating/heat is a problem for tires going the wrong direction, but braking/traction could be affected, especially in the WET!! IE, the tread pattern may not channel water properly if it's rotating in the wrong direction. ;)

The front wheels need to be swapped left/right. At that point you can confirm the proper orientation of the tires and remount as necessary.
