    i know i've seen them before, and i know i've used them before (at my fraternity house) however i can't find them here in st louis. it's a fan that has a temperature setting that will cool down a room until it hits your desired temp and shut off. the ac in my room doesn't work, and this fan will be a lot cheaper than getting it fixed, but i can't find it anywhere! sams, wal mart, home depot, lowes, anyone know where i may be able to get lucky?

    I would search on the web for Thermostatically Controlled Fan

    I've seen them that can be mounted as an exhaust fan to vent a room to the outside. I'm sure they make others.

    haha. I'm just thinking (and looking at) the fan i rigged up yesterday. It had metal legs but i took them off and stuck it in my open window and plugged the gaps on either side with a nordstroms bag and a lucky jeans bag.....gotta love college...
