    Hello everyone.

    This is one of those so-called "side-projects" that excalate quickly and take over all your available time.
    I'm basically modelling this thing without any blueprint or technical data (besides basic and known figures as bore/stroke, etc.), just looking at all the pictures I can find on the internet and some simple math.

    I'm currently modeling the camhead area. I couldn't find any info about camshafts pure diameter, as this figure would help a lot in the dimensioning of the whole assembly. I've managed to find the timing values of the valves.

    Ciao Alessio, e complimenti, questo e un grande progetto.

    Non sono sicuro cento per cento, ma credo che la motore per la 328 ha lo stesso misure che la F40. La scheda techica per la 328 comprese le dimensioni dell'albero a camme è qui:

    Note that the bore and stroke, and the camshaft lift will be different for the F40 compared to the 328, but the basic block and heads should be very similar. Someone around here should hopefully have the F40 technical manual itself anyway.

    Man, you're my savior! This will be very useful indeed. I've been trying to find the F40 service manual, but had no luck so far! I just managed to get the parts catalog. Anyway, thanks a TON! :)

    I have a full service manual for an F40 (at my place in Bologna) but I am not back there until the 9th.

    I will pm you when I am in Bologna. You just need the precise dimensions? I have a few cars there, but sadly no F40.

    What data and dimensions are you looking for? I have a number of engine parts that I measure.

    Let's see:

    - camshaft diameters
    - valve complete dimensions (all diameters, length, etc.)

    these already would help a lot.
