Hopefully I spend a lot of money and get a "new to me" f-car!
Good luck. You may not have known this, but I think you are a fine human being, despite what everybody else says about you.
LMAO @ comment made by TOM! Jerry, good luck, have a safe trip, and hope you don't come back empty handed. Oh and enjoy the wedding too
Best of lady luck Jerry! Come back with and F-40. Jimmy540i- I have to see your F-car and get some more shots of that shifter! Cheers! -Jay
Well, I bought it. Should be shipping next week. It will be out of state for a few months before I can bring my baby home. Neither of the prior owners drove it much - They would just flatbed it to Shelton Ferrari for service. The car has had both the 15K and 30K service done, but only has 2,600 miles! It really shows also - Every part of the car looks brand new - It drove so nice. I felt like I was back in 1988 driving it off the showroom floor. Here are some pics I got from the prior owner. Jerry, Let me be the first to congratulate you (on this thread) ! I am really happy for you. Glad that all worked out and you are proud owner of another Blue car Car is stunning as I previously mentioned and I wish nothing but luck with and many miles of driving in good health. I hope you win a concours or two with that! Lastly, I assume you are keeping it out to avoid the hefty sales tax. In the 90 days that you have to keep it out, I heard one needs proof that the car was out. Are you using a storage facility somewhere, or keeping some gas receipts from other states? I would be interested in knowing the details if you would care to oblige. Once again, fabulous addition to your garage. By the way, was the bubble included??? LOL couldn't help it, sorry
Congratulations Jerry. What a beautiful car. Can't wait to see it in person. Love that bubble. Would like to get one for my car (my garage is dusty as hell), but everytime I mention it to my wife, she looks at me like I'm out of my mind. Dom
Thanks! I'm having the car shipped to AZ. I don't know what proof the DMV needs, but I can provide them whatever is required.
As silly as it looks, I would like the bubble also. I didn't get it with the car, but the owner gave me the receipt for it - I thought it would be more, but it looks like it was about $395 with shipping.
WoW!!!! She is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Oh my Lord! I have been seeing so many awesome F-cars lately, U guys are makein me get tempted at gettin another one! Seriouslt though, this one is a beauty at what it appears to be in concourse condition!!!! EnjoY!!!!
You are welcome. I am not sure what proof they need, but I heard they want gas receipts or other proof to show that the car was actually in another state and not in CA. I assume you will be flying to AZ often now
Thanks! It would be concourse, but I would need to change a few things - For example, the bottom skirts have been painted blue (like the 512TR) instead of the original black. I think I would lose some points for that. There are also some other small exterior pieces that are blue that would have been originally black. I like it though, so I don't think I would change ti back just in order to concourse it though. I would also have to get rid the Ferrari valve caps!
Jerry, OMG!!! A big weekend for both of us! (I got a car, too...hehe). Congratulations on your new car - it is absolutely beautiful. Kinda looks like a big brother (oops, sister) V12 version of your old one!! Can't wait to see the car... I'll meet you in Arizona. Byron
HaHa! Yea, just keep it exactly the way it is! Concourse shmoncourse! Who cares, she is beautiful exactly the way she is!!!!
Awesome Jerry... Congrats bud... All that effort searching paid-off.. Rare find.. I think our next F-chat drive-out should be to AZ to see Jerry...!! I'm in.. Patrick
Wow Jerry, Congradulations!!!! It seems everyone is getting a new car now, you, Armen, Byron (I know what it is, he he ), again congrats!! It is like the 328 went throught some evolution, same Chiaro/Crema. I'm truelly greatfull for you Jerry. Are you keeping the 328? Beautiful, just beautiful! -David
Oh, I wouldn't want to point fingers at each and every so-called "friend" who's responded so nicely since you returned. Just kidding, F-peeps! However, I would like to coin a phrase/term/word which hadn't existed before, even on Google: Testachiaro
