Welcome and its great to see that you drove it home, rather than truck it.

I picked up and drove to AZ:

TR from MI, a Mondial t cab from Rochester NY, an F40 from LA

There is nothing like a cross country drive in a rolling conversation piece! It makes one realize what a great country we live in.

    Welcome and good luck!

Good luck and welcome to what is a rather small club. A great looking car and a nice example. There are probably no more than a couple of hundred low mileage and clean 348 Spider's left in the country and they are starting to appreciate at about 5% per year (incidentally, 360s are depreciating at about 7 % a year to the 348 and 360 prices are approaching each other at over 10% a year though, of course, they will probably never actually meet.

Sweet! I see that you've got the black front lower-lip spoiler of the Series Specials. That's a great look.

Your 348 also seems to have some sort of black seal/frame around the front grill that I don't recall seeing anywhere else. You may start a new trend, though, because it looks good.

Now it's time to pull your A/F ECU codes to see what was nagging at you.

I'll shoot you a PM latter but it may have been my own fault. I was trying to be to careful and never reved the car above 3500rpms. After a fuel stop I ran it through the gears up to 6k gears 2-4 merging onto the highway. Light never came back after that..

The border around the front grill has a blk piece over it. usually it is just uncovered and is the color of the car

    Thanks. I looked it up. It's part #25 in this diagram (below). That's a $750 grill frame/border!

Who knew?! It's just not on many 348 models.

Ben, don't get your hopes up too high, but you **appear** to have parts 25, 26, and 27 from the 348 Competizione race model...which *might* mean that you have the highly desired light-weight Kevlar 348 front bumper (part #1 in the diagram above).

So be sure to not let FatBillyBob too close to your car, as he's on a quest to get a light-weight 348 bumper!
