    Good luck with the sale.

I forwarded yor link to a friend of mine, who is off/on considering an enzo or F50.

Looking forward to seeing what car you have planned. If it was my choice, I'd vote for #0778.

Good luck with the sale, although I will say that I will be sad to see it go. Your pictures and shared experiences with the car have been some of the best posts on this website. I hope that it goes to someone else who can enjoy it and share it as you did.

The fact that it was repainted is why I haven't already bought it... :) Right...

A quality repaint is at least as good as factory. With this car I can't see it making much if any difference.

This was the car once painted "Mecom Blue"?

That is well known, to be restored to original specifications wouldd be no change in value, IMO....

    The long way home
Is it an issue that with more layers of paint, the CF weave becomes less noticible?

Alex - Awesome car, good luck with the sale!

    RufMD - Hmmmmm? ;)

    Nice looking car.

Even better "sales pitch"... Hmmmmmm. Let see: an emergency room physician who is not a sponsor "flogging used cars" on F-Chat. The hypocrisy boggles the mind...

Joe, with all due respect...I highly doubt that was a sales pitch. Simply sharing photo's. I don't think we should ruin Alex's thread.

This has to be the most beautiful Ferrari ever made (IMHO). Alex. good luck with the sale. Your car is perfect. Out of curiosity--why didn't you paint the headlights back to their original color?

I think I remember seeing that car for sale in the dupont registry when it was azzuro california. Looked absolutely amazing in that color.

    Flogging?

    Flog \Flog\ (fl[o^]g), v. t. [imp. & p. p. Flogged (fl[o^]gd); p. pr. & vb. n. Flogging (-g[i^]ng).]

[Cf. Scot. fleg blow, stroke, kick, AS. flocan to strike, or perh. fr. L. flagellare to whip. Cf. Flagellate.]

To beat or strike with a rod or whip; to whip; to lash; to chastise with repeated blows.

Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)

I think a British definition may exist and have something to do with difficulty in selling, but I'd hardly imagine this as being difficult to sell.

The black headlights make the car unique among the Rosso F50's. All of the non red cars had black headlights originally, but the red cars were all red, so this really stands out.

Joe, I'm sure you are diligently working through your issues but in this particular instance Jas has nothing to do with selling this car. He's not treading on your turf. He is simply a friend who was in Bahrain and he had the opportunity to see my car close up, to witness it on the track, to see it displayed, and he took some really nice pictures of the F50. The car is advertised for sale on FChat's FerrariAds.com and as a member of FChat I am perfectly entitled to tell fellow forum users of that fact. If anyone wants to participate in the discussion they are free to do so. If they want to post pics of the car, great. If they know something about the car that is true and they wish to discuss it, wonderful.
What is really unnecessary is your sniping at Jas. It is classless, serves no purpose in the context of this thread and does you and your reputation no good.

I am sure Alex gave his F50 the best color change money can buy....however, if I was paying "all the money" for an F50, I would want it to be an "untouched" example in regards to cosmetics and mechanicals.
