Ummm, can we still have a thread on tensioners. That it was goes kaput first and then the belt breaks. Then the piston and valves are out of time as it is an iterference motor. Then the valves get bent (even if it nicks them they will not seat). That is if you are lucky. If you mash your pistons I have seen them torn all the way down to the block. Then you own a $40K paper weight. I have personally seen this happen. It was fugly !!!
