Hey Guys and Gals, I just got confirmation that I am going to see the Factory. I am taking advantage of the exclusive Ferrari Owners tour inside the factory. Has anyone else done this? If so, what did you think?
No when I ended up at the factory I was on a kinda short unplanned trip so I didnt get the owners tour even though I tried two weeks notice was not enough notice. So I did the normal bus tour from the musem. Still cool but not as good as a real tour indoors. Next time! Have fun
So, how long did it take? Was the museum tour a part of the deal, or is that done on your own? How long to go through the museum? Just trying to allocate enough time.
Lots of fun- Enjoy. Our tour was around 4 hours. Got to see all the production lines, the F1 garages, Fiorano test track. They drag you over to the Museum and Gift Shop too, but a worthwhile day. We started with a light lunch at the Cavallino Ristorante across the stret. Loved it. I am there July the 12 for the factory tour. I drive down into Modena every year straight from Lemans, visit the various museums and factory's , Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati ect. There all within 30 minutes of each other. This year I am driving the 355 down straight from the classic lemans. Driving down through the alp passes in a Ferrari is bliss, and those tunnels through the mountains
Was just there. The Ferrari Museum is excellent. However, I enjoyed the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena just as much plus it has an adjunct building which houses all of the engines ever used and the very first Ferrari. Both museums are world class as you might expect. I found the food at Cavallino and Montana to be mediocre. You go as it is part of the pilgrimage and the atmosphere. For much better food go to Ill Cappero in Castelvetro, a 20-25 minute from Maranello.
