    Hey everyone,

I've spoken to @sammyf a week or so ago about getting the Trev360 ECU flash treatment on my 360 here soon. Part of one of the options given was to increase the length of the immobilizer timeout, which would surely be helpful for most folks. When I inquired about about removing it completely, It was mentioned that completely deleting the immobilizer can cause issues with the factory alarm still being active or even go off while driving, which does make sense.

But... What I really would like to do is completely scrap the ancient, original, and failure prone immobilizer AND alarm system, and instal a modern Viper 2 way system. I put one in my 69 Coronet and it's absolutely fantastic. Works from like a mile away and the LCD key FOB gets audio/visual notifications if the car is tampered with. Plus you can check the status to see if you forgot to lock it. SInce I often park in public lots, this feature keeps the anxiety down better than a Xanax.

Now, everything you would need to wire the new alarm system into the car is surely right there at the stock immo/alarm connectors, but I was unable to find any specific diagrams or pinouts with what is what. Does anyone have anything on that? I was just hoping to do some research on the topic before I commit to the tune to remove the factory system completely. I don't plan on even using the Viper starter interrupt or remote start features, so really the only inputs to the Viper control unit I would NEED to find in the car are is the 12v constant, Ground, and ACC 12v Which is not an issue at all. To get the most from it though and keep the remote entry (a must for me), I would need to find at the original connectors:
    1. Park Lights
    2. Door lock actuators
    3. Dome light.
    4. Door/trunk jamb/ eng hatch switches.

If needed, I could just run stand alone jamb switches and door lock actuators that I could easily mate to the lock rod in the door. Just need to run 2 wires through the door jams for the locks. I would rather work off the factory actuators/wiring in the door lock mechanisms though for simplicity sake.

In addition to those pinouts if anyone has them, I'm curious if anyone has any type of experience in this matter before I go any further and commit to the delete.

    Thanks in advance!

    -Rick

I have a beta-tested Immo delete from Trev more than 5 years ago and have NEVER got into any situations where the alarm system intervened.
I could, if I wanted to, install an aftermarket system.

Maybe check if the orig Immo delete program still exists
