So I have done some research but wanted to make sure what my options where. I have one key and one black fob but no pin. So I can send this black fob to someone in Australia who can get my pin but I'm not going to do that because if it gets lost im screwed.

Apparently I can ask my dealer to get the PIN from Maranello but what is the cost for that? I thought I saw $500.00 somewhere.

    Thanks

The original importer (FNA?) may have a record of your PIN which they should give to you for free, if they have it.

If not, they can request the PIN from the factory. In the UK, this costs £200.

If the factory PIN works, you can add used fobs or buy a new fob set.

If the factory PIN doesn't work, you can buy a new set of anti-theft boards and fobs.

You can also have your current fob cloned, but there is an issue with keeping cloned fobs in sync with the car.

You can also have your PIN recovered from the anti-theft board, which you remove from the car and send to the relevant specialist. They use a brute force method to discover the PIN. You can then add used fobs or buy a new fob set.

Don't they need your actual immobilizer not just fob? I don't think the pin info is on the fob is it?
