As most you old guys know, I kid around , and have my 575 for 17 years or so. I have had it in a tender the last couple years and not moved it. I went to start today and it would not read the key fob. I changed all batteries in all three key fobds. Still no connection. Should I be correct in believing the unit is not working? I know I replaced the battery in the alarm about 10 years ago. Does a dead battery in that disable the entire system? There is a battery in the alarm. I know that. How do I replace? The sirens are often sealed on these cars. They can be cut open and the batteries replaced, but it's not an easy task (and you have to plastic weld the case back together. Do a seach for FerrariChatter "Gobble". He may be able to source a cheaper siren and programme it for the 575. The battery may have leaked and caused an internal short. Check your owner's handbook for alarm / immobilizer-related fuses and relays. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have had the battery siren replaced as a part of my major. I am just confused why my fobs do not disconnect the alarm. I will just get my guys to figure it out and report. It is weird.
I may have to hold the fob. I remember last time it takes a while to find the code. I have new battery in each fob
I will find out and report. Not a huge deal for me, but maybe something we guys need to know. Chears.
I will fix, and let anyone know for future as you guys know, I kid about things, but I am serious about passing along tricks.
And I did not actually drop my marriage ring in the oil filter and catch it in baseball glove at the exhaust
What exactly is happening? Is the alarm LED flashing? Are the doors unlocking? Does the siren beep? Do you have clones or genuine OEM fobs?
One of my fobs went out at the exact time as my alternator. My main FOB failed but my red back-up worked. Related…who knows ? Ferrari.
I figured it out. Hold and keep pressing the fob. It finds you car. I guess after being parked for a while, it takes time. Hahah Chears guys
I think it just took time to find the what ever I had it happen a few years ago. I am an idiot, but I heard there is something about systems don’t ask me. Thanks everyone
If anyone else has the same problem I have had my 575 for over 17 years and know mid everything. It’s not a battery thing
