Sorry if this is a repost... Found this while reorganizing my Ferrari pics on my harddrive. What do you think? Is the hood scoop just for show or is it working? link = http://www.ngtmotorsport.com/Ferrari/360-Body-Imola.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login
well you asked what i think, and i think it looks like ****! the best bodykit ive seen is on hubert's 360
The roof-scoupe just looks like ****. Looks almost like a diablo gt roof scoupe on steriods. There is a 360 with this kit for sale in LA right now. In the ad it said celebrity owned or something of that nature. It didn't come with roof-scoupe, but it still manages to look like **** - imo
That first pic is NOT the imola racing bodykit. These are pics of the 360 with thier bumper. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
After market body kits whether it is Ferrari, Porsche or whatever all look like Rice bling. Why not get some chrome wheels to match too?
I agree with CodeRed .. almost. I am generally not a fan of body kits, however, I do like the Novitec body kit. The Hamann is hideous and the Imola kit makes the car look like a wanna be "Ricky racer." The Novitec kit seems to flow with the car's lines instead of looking like they were added on. Putting aesthetics to one side, Ferrari test their standard Modena/CS bumpers and sills via a wind tunnel. In terms of both road and track do the manufacturers ever give out details (or can anyone here give persoal feedback) of the cd/handling benefits/pitfalls of putting a body kit on the car.
I agree with you....but dont like the Novitect kit either..the front scoop lookes like they merged two different designs together and the rear spoiler looks naff. The only add-ons i like are Novitec wheels which i personally think are some of the best after-market wheels for f-cars....
here is the imola gt body kit on my 360M: for more information about the kit, contact www.p-factor.com Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The bonnet and roof body kits, I believe, are made by a Japanese company called target design. The scoops are both functional. The designer was inspired by F50 and decided to customise the body of 360 accordingly. The bonnet scoop increases the front down force while the roof scoop, which replaces the glass lid, cools the engine. I trust a 360 based on this kit was running in the Japanese GT series quite recently.
Novitec is the best looking, plus it has aweosme power with the twin supercharger. Although Hubert's car is outstanding, very nice!!! Here are some Nice pics of the Novitec tuned 360 on this page. http://novitecrosso.com/images/imagery/
Hubert - I think the manufacturers of the Imola kit need to use your photos to promote their products. I've seen that kit a number of times in ads and other articles but I was never impressed with what I saw. I may not run out and buy the kit but I can say that your car looks much better than any of the other Imola kit clad cars. Has a very agressive stance. Also, I'm glad to see that some people are willing to dramatically modify the appearance of their 360. There are too many purists who absolutely shun the idea of aftermarket modifications - even things as simple and reversable as wheels!! Nice car.
Jeffrey, thanks for the compliments. i will have p-factor (www.p-factor.com) forward my pics over to Imola, if he hasnt done so already.
Hello Mark... Hubert was the recipient of the very first Imola Racing GT-EVO kit. We performed the work on his F360. After completion of the installation, we met for an impromptu photoshoot. Some of the photos are shown above. The camera used was a Canon G4. Jim
