    Hello!
I'm looking since 2 years for the prices to come down for a Speciale. For instance, in Switzerland you can find a good one for 250k CHF thats like 275k USD. I've done export in the other direction already, which is absolutely easy.
Has anybody done that before? What are the hurtles, what are the costs?
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers
    chris

To import to the USA a car that’s less than 25 years old is a bit more complicated if it needs to be federalized. Older cars are pretty straight forward. Haven’t imported myself yet from Europe but being French I’m considering some 355’s which are much cheaper back home.

I ve toyed with the idea for. 208 turbo and 308gt4 but no federalizations needed.

Suggest contact a federalization company and get a quote. Likely they would do it for you. At a margin.

Here are some details- no relationships

These guys did my 360 years before I bought it.

Curious what would need to be done - bumpers, lights etc ?

Where are you because I suspect Cali would be harder than most states as in more expensive and time consuming.

    Good luck.

cars under 25 years old are mostly too difficult to consider importing to the usa, unless they started life as usa spec - which is sometimes the case in some far flung countries.

I have thought about a 208 GTB Turbo for years.
