I am thinking of bringing my car over to NY from Europe, used to spend most of my time there therefore it made sense to keep it there, but now I have not been for 6 months and the car is sitting in a garage. Does anyone know who can take car of the conversions necessary to get it street legal in the US.
I live in NYC, so someone close by would be nice, until now I found a guy in Texas and onther in Cal. A little far....

    Thanks

Agree - they are the best local solution. To put it in perspective, they are the ones that are working on - and have completed - MC12 conversions.

How about selling the car in Europe and buying one here? Just another option since conversion costs can be pretty expensive and resale is almost non-existent on Euro cars in the US.

Thanks to all for your help, I have contacted Rocco and we will see what that brings.

I thought about selling it in Europe, but I am just too attached to that specific car, I think that it will be with me for a very long time. This was my first Ferrari, I bought it new and made considerable sacrifices for it, on top of it I treated it really well, it would be a shame to sell it now.

Thanks again and when it is over here, I am looking forward to all the meets and tracks. ---Even if the best track that I have been on is the Autobahn in Germany where I was able to max out my car very close to 300 km/h.....I still remember, I might go to Germany with the car before I bring it to the US.

I can see where you are coming from. Personal Attachment is a strong thing. Good luck with the conversion.

I had a friend in college who had an Audi with Euro plates....We would get pulled over about 50% of the time. Pain in the ass. He had a ****ty audi, id imagine a ferrari would get pulled over about 85% of the time.
